Explore Art in the Park Auckland 2026 at Eden Park, with 150+ artists, original artworks and ideas for a creative weekend away.
Eden Park is usually the place to watch a big rugby or cricket match. But this November, the stadium is swapping sport for something completely different.
From 12–15 November 2026, Art in the Park returns to Eden Park, bringing together more than 150 artists and over 3,000 artworks. Think paintings, photography, sculptures and installations, all in one of Auckland's best-known venues.
Whether you love art, are looking for something different to do in Auckland or simply fancy a weekend away, this is one event worth putting in the diary.
What's Happening at Art in the Park 2026?
Art in the Park isn't your usual gallery visit.
You'll have the chance to explore original works by established and emerging artists, meet some of the people behind the art and perhaps even find something special to take home.
The event includes paintings, sculptures, photography and prints, with works available to purchase.
Art in the Park
One of this year's highlights is New Zealand artist Jesse Woolston, who is creating a large-scale immersive artwork at Eden Park. It's an opportunity to experience the stadium in a way you probably haven't before.

There's also a sculpture walk on the stadium turf, alongside artist talks and workshops.
And you certainly don't need to know much about art to enjoy it.

Make a Weekend of It in Auckland
If you're coming into Auckland for Art in the Park, why not give yourself a little more time in the city?
Eden Park is close to Kingsland, where you'll find plenty of cafés, restaurants and bars for a meal before or after your visit.
Back in the city centre, you could spend some time at Auckland Art Gallery, browse the shops or head down to the waterfront for dinner.
And if you're visiting from outside Auckland, there's no need to squeeze everything into one day.
With a weekend to explore, you can enjoy the exhibition without rushing and still have time for everything else Auckland has to offer.
