Bookings & Arrivals

  • Check-in is from 2:00 pm.

    Check-out is by 10:00 am.

    Late checkout may be available on request and may incur an additional charge.

  • Guests must be 18+ to book and may be asked to present valid photo ID at check-in. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Infants (0–2 years) stay complimentary in existing bedding or a portacot (subject to availability).

    Where a room type permits, additional children (3–12 years) and extra adults are charged at NZD 55 per person per night.

  • A valid credit card with sufficient funds is required. Online bookings are charged at the time of booking.

    A refundable NZD 200 pre-authorisation (credit card only; no cash bonds) is taken on arrival and released on departure, subject to room inspection.

Cancellation & Refunds

    • Best Available / Standard Rate: 24-hour cancellation policy; cancellations inside 24 hours may be charged up to one night; no-shows may forfeit full charges.

    • Prepaid Flexi-date Rates: Must be booked at least 3 days prior; prepaid and non-refundable. You may rebook to a new date; any rate difference applies (no refund if the new rate is lower).

    • Specials & Packages: Individual policies apply and are shown during booking.

Payments

  • Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted for online bookings.

    Surcharges: Visa/Mastercard 2.5%, American Express 4%. Surcharges are not refundable; American Express refunds incur a NZD 250 fee.

    Refunds are returned to the same card used for the original payment.

    All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include 15% GST.

  • Online payments are processed via DPS Payment Express (PCI DSS compliant with SSL encryption) in accordance with New Zealand regulations.

Room & Amenities

  • All rooms include Wi‑Fi and Google Chromecast.

    Many room types feature a kitchenette; selected suites include in-room washer/dryer.

    Most rooms offer a private balcony (subject to room type).

  •  Yes. Deluxe Accessible Rooms with wheelchair access and roll‑in showers are available (subject to availability). The hotel offers wide door and ramp access.

Facilities & Services

    • Outdoor heated pool and hot tub.

    • Gymnasium with natural light and views over Myers Park.

    • 24-hour reception.

    • Wi‑Fi throughout the hotel and Chromecast in all rooms.

    • Washer/dryer

    • Facilities may occasionally close for maintenance or health & safety requirements.

  • We provide a washer/dryer in each room, but no, we do not offer a dry cleaning service.

  • Yes. Parkside Hotel & Apartments has a strict non‑smoking policy. Guests who smoke on premises will be charged a NZD 200 cleaning fee.

  • Undercover secure parking is available on a limited, first‑come first‑served basis; charges apply.

    If your accommodation package includes parking, you’ll receive priority parking on arrival.

Meetings & Events

  • Yes, flexible spaces are available for board meetings through to larger conferences. Please check our Meetings page for more information.
